PTI Party officials allege that a “gang of four” is in charge of K-P affairs and holding the caretaker CM hostage.
PESHAWAR: According to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the governor and his son, Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s brother, and former chief minister Akram Durrani are the real power brokers in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), not interim chief minister Azam Khan.
The PTI has requested that the caretaker government and ministers should refrain from engaging in political activity because neither they nor their representatives are elected representatives or in office for a period of five years.
At a press conference held at the party secretariat, former minister Kamran Bangash, attorney Muhammad Ali Saif, Arbab Jehandad, and other PTI representatives were present. Provincial spokesperson Shaukat Yousafzai was also present.
He praised the party’s victory in the Rajanpur election and said that it was a resounding rejection of the “imported administration.”
According to him, the province’s caretaker ministers are making pronouncements as though they were chosen through millions of votes and will serve as leaders for five years.
The province has already experienced severe problems as a result of the deteriorating economic condition. They have now caused a crisis in the judiciary. “This government lacks a vision or a plan.”
Yousafzai slammed the cases brought against the PTI leader, saying: “More than 70 phoney cases are brought against Imran, who did not travel overseas under the pretence of receiving treatment, but he is sitting here and confronting them, which is why they are yelling out.
The party leaders added that the lack of investments and cash in the nation is causing the economy is down in the dumps and inflation is stubbornly high.
Ten billion dollars allegedly left the nation… Everyone is concerned about the manner in which the caretaker administration selects and promotes its officials, and about the way in which it treats the police like a personal force.
In response to questions regarding the caretaker Chief Minister Azam Khan, they stated that he is a hostage but has a solid job history, therefore they had no problem with his selection.
“The caretaker administration should explain itself since its words are worrying the populace,” one person said.
