An intelligence-driven operation in Bannu resulted in the deaths of three terrorists.
ISPR reports that the operation was carried out by security personnel in the Nurar area due to the reported presence of militants.
The military’s media wing reported on Tuesday that security forces had killed three terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Bannu area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted an IBO on the night of April 10–11 in the general region Nurar in the Bannu district due to reports of the presence of terrorists.
According to the report, a ferocious firefight broke out between the forces and the militants during the mission. All three terrorists were consequently damned to damnation.
The statement also said that weapons and ammo from the terrorists who were killed had been found.
The militants continued to actively participate in terrorist attacks against security personnel and the murder of unarmed civilians.
According to the ISPR, “locals of the area expressed their entire support to eliminate threat of terrorism from the area and applauded the operation.”
Early today, an intelligence-based operation in Kuchlak, a tiny hamlet close to the provincial capital of Balochistan, resulted in the martyrdom of at least four Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF) officers and the death of a suspected terrorist.
According to police sources, “the terrorists entered the residence and ambushed the ATF team” during a home invasion, resulting in a gunfight between the two sides.
Ali Akbar, Faiz Muhammad, Muhammad Javed, and Chenghaiz Khan were the security personnel who perished in the gunfire exchange.
