The timeline for the SSC examinations could be disrupted by a reorganization of the relevant educational boards.
Chairmen, secretaries, and moderators from Sindh’s several school boards have been sent back to their departments of origin.
KARACHI: The Department of Boards and Universities have moved officers of several boards barely three days before the scheduled Sindh Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations, which could have an impact on the exams.
The department notified several education boards in Sindh that their chairman, secretaries, and moderators had been reassigned to their original departments.
Reporting back to the Department of Colleges is Abdul Jabar, formerly the Deputy Controller of Examinations for the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Shaheed Benazirabad.
Returning to the Education Department is Jan Muhammad Malik, formerly the acting secretary of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education at Shaheed Benazirabad.
The Larkana board has requested a report from Ashfaq Ahmed Shaikh, assistant secretary of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Shaheed Benazirabad.
Secretary of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Hyderabad, Shaukat Khanzada, was also demoted and reassigned to the Department of Colleges.
Matriculation Board Shaheed Benazirabad Audit Officer Ehsan Ilahi Bhutto has been reassigned to the Local Governments Department.
Previously assigned to the Board of Intermediate Education in Karachi, Engineer Anwar Aleem Khanzada has been transferred to the Mirpurkhas board.
Data Processing Shaheed Benazirabad’s Mazhar Mirjat has been sent to the Larkana Education Department. The Board of Secondary Education in Karachi has sent Iftikhar Abro, an assistant programmer there, to the Agriculture Department. The Education Department in Sukkur has also removed Acting Controller Sikandar Ali Mirjat and transferred him back to Larkana.
