ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON, STRONG earthquakes could be felt in New Delhi and the surrounding areas of India’s capital city, which is also the country’s national capital.

The National Centre for Seismology of India reported on X that an earthquake measuring 6.2 magnitudes on the Richter scale took place at 2:51 p.m. local time (1151GMT), with the epicentre located in Nepal. This information was released on X.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 rocked the Indian state of Meghalaya in the northeastern region of the country on Monday. The earthquake caused sensations in neighbouring states as well as in Bangladesh’s capital city of Dhaka and some other regions of the country.
The earthquake was blamed for no injuries or deaths, and it did not appear to have caused any damage to property.
