As part of President Xi Jinping’s 2013 call for a better world, China presented a white paper on Tuesday titled “Building a Global Community of Shared Future.”

According to Foreign Minister Wang Yi, President Xi has built a solid consensus for international cooperation by putting out the innovative proposal at a critical historical juncture.
At a press conference in Beijing to announce the white paper’s release, Wang, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, made the comments.
Wang remarked that the international community now has a deeper knowledge of the vision thanks to Xi’s meticulous explanation of it at a wide variety of international events over the past decade.
The State Council Information Office released a white paper that argued that the goal of constructing a worldwide community of shared future is more important than following the rules of bloc politics, the belief that “might makes right,” or the “universal values” set by a small group of Western countries.
According to the white paper, it helps create a more fair and just global system.
According to Wang, the concept has been included in a number of resolutions and declarations made by multilateral mechanisms and adopted by the UN General Assembly for the past six years in a row.
A rising number of nations and their people, he said, have come to see the vision’s potential for advancing humanity.
To date, China has established communities of shared future with dozens of countries and areas, garnered support from over a hundred countries for its proposed Global Development Initiative and Global Security Initiative, and been met with approval for its Global Civilization Initiative.
Wang argued that China has provided solutions to important international problems in areas such as health, climate change, and cyber security.
The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is an excellent illustration of the importance of creating a global society with a common destiny. One example is the 110,000 employment created in Laos thanks to the China-Laos Railway.
According to Cong Liang, deputy head of the National Development and Reform Commission, China would continue to carry out BRI landmark projects and focus on “small but beautiful” programmes to serve the people of all partner nations.
To hasten the implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and to add to the progress towards constructing a global community with a common future, China will invest more resources in global development cooperation, according to Zhao Fengtao, deputy head of the China International Development Cooperation Agency.

China has made “substantive actions” to help forward the creation of a “global community of shared future,” according to the white paper.
Authorities have stated that China intends to further its development as a contributor to global community development and as a provider of new chances to the world at large.
Political parties, according to Guo Yezhou, deputy chairman of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, play a crucial role in advancing human civilization and constructing a global community with a shared destiny.
Li Qun, China’s Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, has stated that China has signed cooperation agreements in the domains of culture, cultural heritage, and tourism with 157 nations because the country recognises the importance of fostering cultural exchanges as a means to achieving this goal.
According to Li, during the past decade China has worked with other countries to host more than 500 exhibitions of cultural artefacts.
According to the white paper, “building a global community of shared future is the way forward for all the world’s peoples,” but getting there won’t be easy and “there will be no plain sailing.”
In order to achieve this objective, the white paper states, “a sense of responsibility and a will to act hold the key.” All nations must work together if we’re going to build a future we can all be a part of.
