Sirajul Haq, leader of the Islamist party Jamaat-e-Islami, made this statement in SHUJABAD, branding the caretaker Balochistan chief minister, interim prime minister, and governor “blind, deaf, and dumb” for their inaction in the wake of the murder of five labourers by terrorists in Turbat.
On Sunday, Siraj travelled to the home of one of the families of the innocent workers killed in the Turbat tragedy in the Shujaabad neighbourhood of Multan district. He expressed sympathy to the families of the deceased workers.
The leader of the JI has called for a probe into the terrorist attack that claimed the lives of five construction workers.
Rather than resort to dacoity and thievery, “the poor labourers leave their city for lawful rights,” Siraj remarked. “The chief minister, prime minister, and governor didn’t show up because they’re cowards. Because of their own weakness, they are unable to administer justice. These leaders can’t see, hear, or speak, since cruelty like this is unheard of anywhere else.
He said that his house had been burned down, his daughter had been abducted, and he had been oppressed because he lived in the country. This is an oppressive system,” she said. We refuse to believe it. Indeed, the Islamic system is our only hope for a better future.
Siraj pleaded for peace across Pakistan, including in Balochistan, pointing out that the country’s current chief justice, Senate chairman, and prime minister are all from the province. The people of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab in Balochistan should find peace just as you have protocol in Islamabad.
