HYDERABAD: On Saturday, at the 21st convocation of Isra University, over 590 graduates received their academic degrees in Hyderabad.
Of these, 405 received bachelor’s degrees in nursing, BDS, MBBS, and diploma in physical therapy (DPT), while five received postgraduate degrees. In the domains of engineering, computer science, information technology, management sciences, communications, and business administration, another 159 students obtained degrees. 22 male and female students also graduated with postgraduate degrees.
At the convocation, gold medals were awarded to the graduates Aisha, Bushara Mehdi, Anshal Farooq, Tayyaba, Aina, Rahima Shahid, Nimra, Hasnain, Atta-ur-Rehman, and Abdul Manan in recognition of their exceptional performance. Silver medals were awarded to Simran, Muhammad Shahzoor, Asma Nadeem, Jheel, Asma Fatima, Saman Shahid, Hamna Sheikh, Suman, Safeedullah Khan, and Murad Azam.
Prof. Dr. Ghulamqadir Kazi, the chancellor of Isra University, spoke at the occasion and hoped that the graduates will not only embark on new lives but also elevate the reputation of their university.
