If the assemblies are dissolved, they “Will proceed to the people’s court.”
Moonis restates his commitment to stand by the chairman of the PTI.
GUJRAT: Former federal minister and PML-Q leader Moonis Elahi has stated that he will serve the people if he continues in the legislatures and that if the assemblies are dissolved, he will once more go before the people’s court.
“Politics is our family’s mission, and Muslim League is the people’s party. We go above and above to help the public whenever we have the chance.
“The country has defaulted economically and the Shahbaz government failed to mend the economy,” experts were reported by Moonis as saying.
We were with Imran Khan yesterday, we are with him today, and we will be in the future, the PML-Q leader declared.
The younger Elahi had earlier stated that “there is no disagreement between the PTI and PML-Q regarding the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly and we have made this message to the PTI chairman loud and clear: the assembly will be dissolved in the blink of an eye, if he can ensure elections in Punjab soon after.”
“The decision to dissolve the Punjab Assembly should be prudent [and take into account] the prevailing ground realities,” said Moonis, the son of Punjab CM Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
He claimed that on December 1, CM Elahi, him, and Hussain Elahi visited Imran at his home in Zaman Park and shared this concern with him.
The PML-Q “has wholeheartedly agreed to allow Imran to dissolve the legislature whenever he wants, but he should also be cognizant of the fact that the PML-coalition N’s government should not be able to delay the elections through technicalities,” claims Moonis.
After “they are out of power in Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa,” he warned, “it might make things difficult for both parties.”
