ISLAMABAD — President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on Wednesday for an official visit that will last for two days.
During the visit, the two parties are going to meet and have a discussion on how they may further strengthen their bilateral cooperation in a variety of different fields. It is anticipated that a number of bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding will be inked.
It is anticipated that the visit of the president of Tajikistan to Pakistan would provide a renewed push to deepening collaboration between the two countries in a variety of fields and will further strengthen the developing geo-economic alliance.
“Pakistan and Tajikistan are fraternal countries united through longstanding historical, cultural, and religious relationships,” Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, a spokesperson for the Foreign Office, said in a statement.
She stated that “These ties are characterised by uncommon cordiality as well as mutual respect.” The perspectives of the two countries are comparable on a variety of local, national, and international concerns.
