In a letter that was sent to the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination, the Premier of the Province made a request for the formation of the committee.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif established a committee to steer the activities of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the next one hundred and twenty days. Najam Sethi would serve as the committee’s chairman.

A notification regarding the formation of the committee was made public after first gaining approval from the cabinet of the federal government.
It has been claimed that numerous members of the board have made contact with Najam Sethi in an effort to maintain their current positions. The Chief Selector, Muhammad Wasim, is in agreement that one cannot maintain their job indefinitely.
On the other hand, according to certain reports, Ramiz Raja is allegedly contemplating the prospect of filing a lawsuit in response to the chance that he would be removed from his position.
According to the sources, even though the maybe new arrangement seems to be ready in this regard, the immediate priority would be to seek a stay order. This is the case despite the fact that the possible new arrangement appears to be ready.
