In connection with a case of alleged money laundering on their part, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has added the names of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi’s sons to the Exit Control List (ECL). Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi is the Chief Minister of Punjab and a leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q).
The FIA is said to have added the names of nine individuals to the ECL, including Moonis Elahi and Rasikh Elahi, who are Elahi’s sons. This was reported by Express News. In this regard, a letter has been issued to the additional director general of immigration on behalf of the director of the Federal Investigation Agency in Lahore, according to the report.
After being added to the ECL, these individuals were barred from leaving the country for a period of one month.
According to Express News, their names are Saira Anwar, Iram Amin, Tehrim Elahi, Zahra Elahi, Arshad Iqbal, Sambal Rehan, Farhan Khan, and Qaiser Iqbal Bhatti.
