Islamabad:
Former Punjab chief minister and current PTI president Parvez Elahi promised on Tuesday that they would run for office under the cricket bat symbol in the upcoming general elections and hope that all of the people who had left the party would come back.
At the anti-terrorism court, Elahi told the reporters informally that he was sure people would vote for the PTI in the upcoming elections. If they wanted to hold protests, he told the chief election commissioner to “give them their right.”
He blamed the Sharifs for the present inflation and said they were using government resources to get votes. Elahi said they would run for office under the bat sign and hoped that all the people who had left the party would come back.
