QUETTA: On Friday, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairperson of the PPP, said that he had been told by Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the PML-N, that the three-time prime minister would return to power a fourth time “to save the country.”

In Quetta, Bilawal spoke to the Balochistan High Court Bar Association. He said that he knew how elections work in Pakistan and that if the people are awakened, nothing will stop them from practicing their right to choose.

He insisted that the country’s general elections would happen on February 8.

He was referring to PTI Chairman Imran Khan as the “last option.” Khan, who is 70 years old and a “leader of the youth,” has been accused of ignoring the missing people.

He told people to “surprise” the powerful on election day by voting for change.

The PPP chairman said that hatred, division, and ignoring of major problems by Imran and Nawaz have made the “value of the peoples’ blood” less valuable. He asked the people not to give these two leaders control of the country.

Before, Shazia Marri, the Central Information Secretary of the PPP, said that her party has always talked about missing people and that party Co-Chairperson Asif Ali Zardari had started the “Aghaz-e-Huqooq-e-Balochistan Package,” opened Gwadar Port, set up universities, pushed for Balochistan to get a 50% share of the Saindak project, and given provinces more power with the 18th Amendment.
