Sunday was Sindhi Cultural Day. Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar thanked the people of Sindh province and said that Sindhi culture was one of the interesting colors of Pakistan’s different civilizations and cultures.
The PM said in a message sent by the PM Office Media Wing that Sindhi Cultural Day was being held to honor the province’s lovely culture and traditions that go back hundreds of years.
On that day, he sent his warmest greetings to all of his Sindhi brothers and sisters.
The statement said that the prime minister said, “Sindh, the land of Sufis, has been the place of peace and tolerance for hundreds of years.”
He said that the fertile land of Sindh province had been important not only in the region but also in the history of civilizations all over the world. He compared Sindhi culture to a jewel on the face.
