On Tuesday, caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar said that he would never give up on his goal of getting rid of terrorism in the country.
“We will fight back until the threat of terrorism is gone from our motherland,” he said on the social media site X to make his point clear.
It was an honor for the prime minister to recognize the hard work of the security forces in the Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, especially in the Darazanda, Daraban, and Kolachi areas.
At least 23 soldiers were killed and 27 terrorists were captured during these missions.
Prime Minister Kakar praised the brave security forces, saying that their commitment, sacrifice, and bravery in the face of terror were unmatched and gave the country hope.
In a message of condolence to the families of the victims, Prime Minister Kakar said that he understood how hard they had to work to protect the country.
He said again that the government was still determined to get rid of terrorism and extremism in the country.
Even though violent acts like these don’t bother the prime minister, he stressed that the security forces are still determined to fight terrorists.
After the terrorist attack in DI Khan, PM Kakar made sure that the injured got the best medical care possible. He did this to show that the government was committed to helping people who were hurt by these kinds of events.
The statement shows that the government is determined to deal with the ongoing danger of terrorism. It also thanks the security forces for their work and sends condolences to the families of the victims.
