Faisal Karim Kundi, a spokesman for the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), has asked what the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is for and said that the agency’s main job is to fight corruption, but it has also been used for political maneuvering.

“Earlier, the NAB was bringing multiple references against Nawaz Sharif, who is the leader of the PML-N and was prime minister before. “Now, the same NAB is helping Nawaz get out of these cases,” Kundi said at a Thursday news conference.
Whether NAB was wrong in the past or is wrong now, the people should know. “NAB is not someone’s private property; it’s a government agency,” he stressed.

Kundi said that the PPP has turned down plans to limit your ability to use social media during the upcoming general elections. “Putting limits on social media would make it harder for people to speak their minds.” “Everyone has the right to say what they think and feel,” he declared.

He also said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would be the PPP’s choice for prime minister. If the PPP wins, Asif Ali Zardari would become president. “Asif Zardari dispelled all rumors by symbolically placing a turban on Bilawal’s head during their recent visit to Balochistan,” he made clear.

Kundi said that the PML-N’s plans were unworkable and called them “drawing-room politics.” He asked why a party that says it is the country’s major party is avoiding elections and talking about delaying them by two months if they are really that important.

“We have told the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) officials that we have concerns and want all parties to have an equal chance to win.” The PPP is determined that the polls on February 8 will be fair. “There should be no reason to put off these very important elections,” he said. He also said that elections have been held during wars and urged people not to put off general elections any longer.

He spoke out against the latest terrorist attack in DI Khan and emphasized that the PPP is committed to putting the National Action Plan into action.

“These kinds of things might not have happened if the National Action Plan had been put into action today.” “We need to know who let these terrorists back into the country and who let them go,” he said.

In reference to the recent hearing of a presidential reference about Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s case decision, Kundi said, “Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto should be given justice.” “Those who helped put him to death, whether they were bureaucrats, judges, or lawyers, should be held responsible,” he said.
