Mushaal Hussein Mullick, who is the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Human Rights and Women Empowerment, stressed on Friday how important it is for women to fully participate in the economy.
At the opening event of the “Pakistan Style and Furniture Expo,” she spoke. The expo shows off items from all over the country that reflect the diversity of each province’s culture.
Mushaal said he liked the Expo and thought it did a great job of showing how complicated and varied Pakistani culture lifestyle trends are.
In her speech, she said that the Expo is an important place for artists, designers, and companies to show off their most beautiful works.
She said that artists and designers had put a lot of thought and hard work into making these items, making pieces that fit in with the world’s diverse and changing design scene.
Mushaal Hussein Mullick and Sabein Hussein Mullick (Focal Person to SAPM) were truly moved by the artisans’ amazing skills and willingness to try new things. They thought that each show was a powerful example of the country’s rich history, artistic creativity, and cutting-edge new ideas.
Mushaal was glad that transgender and women businesses were at the expo.
In his speech, Mushaal said that one of the main goals of the Ministry of Human Rights’ 100-day plan was to close the gender gap in Pakistan by working hard to give women more power, especially in politics.
She suggested creating an Implementation Council and stressed how important it was to turn legislative goals into real actions.
She also said that the council would be very important in making sure that laws passed to promote women are followed.
Mushaal said that the economy of the country was showing signs of security, and that the stock market was showing good signs. She praised the Chief of Army Staff’s personal efforts and acknowledged and thanked him for his important contributions to the country’s general economic stability.
Mushaal told them how worried she was that her family was in trouble because India was persecuting her husband Yasin Malik.
She said that the recent decision by the Indian Supreme Court to end Kashmir’s special position was wrong and could not be enforced by the law.
Mushaal also talked about her plan to lead the creation of a Kashmir Advisory Committee. She went on to say that in response to the Indian Supreme Court’s ruling, the committee would give the government a long list of suggestions.
She also brought up the fact that the Modi-led Indian government is changing the population of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) in order to affect any future vote.
