Lahore: Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan’s former prime minister, said on Saturday that the PML-N is more united and powerful than before, reiterating the party’s promise to save the Pakistani people from the economic crisis.

Nawaz Sharif, during the PML-N parliamentary board meeting, lauded party president Shehbaz Sharif for his steadfast dedication to the Pakistani people and the party.

Recognizing his brother Shehbaz’s crucial role in guiding the country through difficult times, he praised him for effectively resolving the electricity shortage situation.

The PML-N’s Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz have been through a lot, but Nawaz has complimented their courage and dedication to the party’s purpose.

In return, Shehbaz praised Nawaz and said that his political success was due to Nawaz’s mentoring and encouragement. My one remaining wish is that Nawaz Sharif be re-elected prime minister and successfully steer the country out of this situation. Nawaz Sharif is the one with whom my political career began and will conclude.

When addressing at the event, former federal minister Saad Rafique emphasized important points in the PML-N’s history, such as Maryam’s march towards the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), which showed the party’s resilience in the face of political victimization.

Khawaja Asif, a former defense minister, brushed off accusations of ancestral politics, saying that young leaders such as Maryam and Hamza have shown their mettle by defiance, perseverance, and dedication to serving the public.

Maryam was appreciative of the kind remarks offered by Shehbaz, Asif, and Rafique. Her entry into politics came about under unusual circumstances, but she was willing to accept any position the party gave her.

I had resolved to emulate my mother’s lifestyle once PML-N Quaid (Nawaz Sharif) returned on October 21. Since I am not interested in running for office, I will not be voting in any upcoming elections. Whatever role the party thinks I should play, I’m fine with it, she declared.

In his address to the assembly, Hamza shared the words of wisdom passed down from his grandpa, Mian Sharif, who told his sons and the whole family that no difficulty can be overcome by sticking together and sending positive vibes in every direction.

Hamza stressed that Shehbaz Sharif lived his life according to this advice, stubbornly refusing efforts to divide the party.

Relying on the same teachings from Mian Sharif, he emphasized that he and Maryam will remain united. He underlined that the PML-N must remain steadfastly united in order to address Pakistan’s problems.

Shehbaz and Nawaz are the foundation of the party, and PML-N Punjab President Rana Sanaullah praised their tenacity. With Hamza and Maryam at the helm, he was optimistic about the party’s future and praised their accomplishments.
