Three Sunni Tehreek employees were shot and critically wounded on Monday in Moosa Colony when unknown assailants stormed the party headquarters brandishing automatic rifles. Allama Bilal Saleem Qadri Shami, general secretary of the Sunni Tehreek, visited the wounded at the hospital shortly after the incident.
The injured personnel of Sunni Tehreek were transferred from Abbasi Shaheed Hospital to the Civil Hospital trauma center following initial treatment.
In an interview with the media, Sarwat Ejaz Qadri, president of the Pakistan Sunni Tehreek Ejaz Qadri group, said that although the PST advocates for unity and peace, anti-state forces were attempting to derail the elections by disrupting law and order. According to Qadri, conspirators’ evil plans would always fail.
