PESHAWAR:
It was revealed on Saturday that the PTI and its split section had reached an agreement in principle to work together to establish the government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
Ziaullah Khan Bangash, a spokesman for the PTI-Parliamentarians, affirmed that the PTI and his party had concluded fruitful negotiations about the formation of the K-P government.
Details indicate that all issues were settled at a combined conference of the two parties following the success of the first round of negotiations between them to obtain reserved seats and establish the K-P government.
Bangash stated that both parties had established a legal team to examine the legal ramifications of obtaining the reserved seats and that they had also agreed in principle to become one.
Sources claim that the recently elected PTI-backed independent lawmakers will join the PTI-P if there are no problems or legal challenges.
Bangash emphasised that Pervez Khattak, the leader of the PTI-P, resigned from both his basic membership and his position as party head due to illness, not because the two parties wanted to unify.
