After attending the Senate Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting meeting, he spoke to the media and asked for patience, pointing out that the legal process was still in progress. “The judiciary and institutions should be trusted by the public,” he continued.

He said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) was looking into the claims of election tampering and emphasized how important it is to wait for the outcome of the current legal processes.

He declared that the caretaker administration had carried out its duty to hold free, fair, and peaceful elections. In response to a question, he clarified that the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs would send a summary to the relevant party for calling a new session of the National Assembly as soon as the ECP announced the final list of victorious candidates.

He further stated that a request to President Dr. Arif Alvi to call a meeting of the National Assembly will then be made.

Earlier, the minister emphasized the significance of increasing PTV’s presence on social media platforms to increase viewership during a briefing to the Senate Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting, which was led by Senator Fauzia Arshad.

Taking note of the high level of fan involvement on social media, he pointed out that PTV had begun posting its excellent shows there.

Solangi emphasized how important it is to enhance PTV product promotion on social media. The minister clarified that the elected government was in charge of choosing the leaders of certain institutions.

He stated that because of the drawn-out selection process, it was not feasible to complete this duty while a caretaker administration was in charge. As a result, he said, it was better for the incoming parliament and government to use their power to make these appointments as soon as they took office.

“Maintained equitable treatment for every political party.”

In the meantime, Solangi told the Senate House Business Advisory Committee that the caretaker administration had made an effort to guarantee that all political parties received the same treatment.

He stated that the main responsibility of the caretaker administration was to guarantee free, fair, and transparent elections throughout the nation, a task that necessitated the collaboration of all political factions.

“In that regard, the caretaker administration made an effort to foster close coordination with all stakeholders,” he continued.

Solangi expressed his appreciation to the Senate’s chairman and senators for their unwavering backing of the interim administration. Members of the House Business Advisory Committee and Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani praised Solangi for his participation in the Senate proceedings.

The minister’s significant contribution to the efficient operation of Parliament’s upper house was commended by the Senate chairman. During the question-hour sessions, the senators praised the minister for providing detailed answers to their inquiries.
