ISLAMABAD: The Central President of the PTI, Parvez Elahi, has stressed that the government’s “proposal for reconciliation” is meaningless, citing the creation of “fake cases” and stressing the need for the “return of PTI’s real mandate.”
Speaking with the media during his appearance before the anti-corruption court, the PTI president asserted that the alleged manipulation of Form 45 was the reason his party’s candidates lost the votes on February 8.
The popular mandate is being disregarded, which is driving the nation towards a catastrophic calamity. “The Pakistan Democratic Movement has been allotted our reserved seats, bringing the election commission to a new height of cruelty and injustice,” the speaker declared.
The PTI leader emphasised that having “direct and meaningful dialogue” with Imran Khan was the best way to shepherd the nation out of the current dilemma.
“The offer of reconciliation from the government is meaningless [in light of] the fabricated cases and until the PTI’s true mandate is restored.”
