The leaders of Tehreek Tahafuz Ayeen-e-Pakistan (TTAP) met with Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, the president of the National Party, on Friday to talk about important political issues. These included attacks on the judiciary, restoring constitutional supremacy, and putting back in parliament the “true representatives of the people.”

Asad Qaiser and Omar Ayub Khan, leaders of the PTI, National Party Senator Jan Muhammad Buledi, and Sajid Tareen, leader of the BNP, were all at the meeting. There was a lot of talk about the political situation in the country as a whole and in Balochistan in particular.

Asad Qaiser, the leader of the PTI, carried the TTAP’s message that the leadership of the National Party should never give up fighting the current injustice.

During the meeting, Asad Qaiser stressed how important it was for the country to follow the law. “We cannot move forward without the rule of law,” he said.

Omar Ayub Khan, the secretary general of the PTI, said that the constitution is literally hanging by a thread right now and that it needs to be fixed right away. “There is no solution to the problems except the restoration of the constitution,” he stated.

He told people that Imran Khan, the father of the PTI, will not make a deal with anyone who has done wrong.

At the same time, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch said, in line with other PTI leaders, that the people’s will was not respected in the recent polls and that the PTI’s fight would not be in vain.

Asad Qaiser said again that TTAP’s only goal is to make sure that the law is followed and that Parliament has the power. An organized effort was going on against the judiciary, he said, and he stressed how important it was to bring in real leaders chosen by the people.

Additionally, Qaiser talked about the current situation in Punjab, calling it a “police state” and mourning the fact that the constitution is not in place. People no longer trust the system after he said that the elections on February 8 were rigged.
“Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is the only party in the country which is a symbol of federation,” he told us.

Omar Ayub Khan stressed how important it was to have the rule of law and a constitution. He also said that running the country without them would be hard. He said that Imran Khan, the former prime minister, would not make any deals to get out of jail.

“We will keep fighting until the country has real freedom.” “In a democracy, the Parliament must be given the most power,” he urged.

Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, who was talking about Balochistan’s problems, said that the province is in terrible shape because of major political issues and needs a political solution.

He told the big political groups that they needed to do their part in politics.

Baloch said that the matter would be brought up by the National Party’s central committee and the decision would be sent to the TTAP leadership. He was talking about the possibility of joining the alliance of six opposition parties under the TTAP banner.
