The guilty parties invaded a private company, tying up two guards and attacking and killing a Bangladeshi security officer, according to the Saudi Interior Ministry.

The five offenders were hauled before a competent court after extensive investigations, found guilty, and given the death penalty.

The decision, which was confirmed by the highest courts and the courts of appeals, was finally approved by a royal decree, which resulted in the people’s execution on Tuesday in Makkah.

Saudi Arabia, a country renowned for its severe legal code, executes criminals for offenses like drug smuggling, murder, and terrorist acts.

This incident comes after four Ethiopian expats were hanged in January for the unidentified murder of a Sudanese person. The motivation for the first execution was not divulged. In a another case from December, two expatriates from Bangladesh were put to death for killing an Indian man due to a money dispute and using pesticide as their weapon.

The use of the death penalty in Saudi Arabia has attracted criticism and attention from throughout the world. Human rights organizations have regularly expressed concerns about the impartiality and transparency of the judicial processes that result in such harsh punishments.
