After Rizwan took over as captain in the Karachi Test, controversy erupted. Skipper Babar Azam did not step out to the field because he was suffering from a viral ailment.
After Mohammad Rizwan took over as captain on Day 3 of the Karachi Test between Pakistan and New Zealand, there was a minor controversy.
According to the information, captain Babar Azam was unable to enter the field due to a viral virus, and Rizwan assumed captaincy after entering the field as a substitute player.
An ICC rule prohibits substitute players from taking the lead. The Pakistani team management disqualified Mohammad Rizwan from serving as captain after the match referee and umpires intervened, and Sarfraz Ahmed is now in charge.
Agha Salman, Shan Masood, and Babar are all sick with the flu.
It should be mentioned that in response to Pakistan’s 438 in the first innings, New Zealand were 245/2.
