Policy turbulence is to blame for a number of recent setbacks, according to Ahsan Planning Minister, who claims that “Vision 2025” was thwarted by a “tsunami.”

ISLAMABAD — Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal stated on Tuesday that political instability and a lack of continuance of policies were the causes behind the problems Pakistan has been having over the past 75 years. Iqbal made these remarks at a press conference in the capital city.

The minister stated while speaking at the launching and oath-taking ceremony of the young development fellowship programme that “we achieved independence to prove that we could construct a viable state,” not to extend the line of undeveloped countries. The ceremony was held in the capital city.

Commenting on the fellowship programme, he stated that it had been started previously during the time of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), but that it had been obstructed due to the fact that his government had been a victim of the “Tsunami.”

The minister asserted that his administration had presented the Vision 2025 in 2013, despite the fact that the subsequent government had failed to carry out the plan. He went on to say that the blockage of policies was one of the reasons why this country was not progressing in a uniformly positive manner.

He went on to assert that the government that was led by his party had rescued the country from the energy crisis and had better plans than those that had been implemented, but that those plans had not been put into action.

He went on to say that tranquilly and consistency were necessary conditions for the development and prosperity of any nation.

The minister emphasised how important it is to make the most of the demographic diversity that exists throughout the country.

He stated that the younger generation of the country has the potential to become an asset to the nation if they are given the right atmosphere and guidance. In the event that they are not shaped in a productive manner, however, they could prove to be a demographic disaster.

He stated that the top objective of the government was to provide the best opportunity to the youth, which included training, education, and experiences that might lead the country on the path to growth. He claimed that this was the government’s top priority. (Based on suggestions from APP)
