It was difficult to support the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), but the formation of a government that solved public concerns and kept pledges was the most important thing, according to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in Lahore.
While visiting Minhaj-ul-Quran in Lahore, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari spoke to the media and emphasized the PPP’s dedication to collaborating closely with the people.
Bilawal laid a wreath at the memorial of the martyrs of Model Town, accompanied by Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, the Secretary General of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT). Plus, he joined Minhaj-ul-Quran and was accepted for life.
Pakistan, Bilawal said, will become a model state that the world would see as the true face of Islam. “We know that together in this struggle we will bring the peaceful face of Pakistan to the world,” stated the president.
He advocated for a fair investigation into the Model Town tragedy, stating that the victims’ requests for justice were justified. He emphasized punishing individuals accountable for the disaster and removing legal hurdles.
Bilawal brought up the fact that his mother, the late Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, was a life member of Minhaj-ul-Quran, highlighting the revival of relations with the group.
He applauded the institute’s work in promoting Islam’s peaceful identity and calling for an end to social and political enmity around the world.
Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s worldwide religious services to promote peace and eradicate extremism were further lauded by Bilawal.
Notably, PAT member Khurram Nawaz Gandapur announced that his party would be supporting Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in NA-127.
He brought attention to the long-standing connection between Minhaj-ul-Quran and Benazir Bhutto, saying that it has now progressed to the second generation through Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s life membership.
Symbols and manifestos would be used by PAT candidates in elections around the nation, according to Gandapur.
