China has expressed satisfaction with the verdict in the Dasu attack case.
The victims of the terrorist attack can finally rest in peace, according to a spokesperson for the organization.

BEIJING:
A Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said on Tuesday that China appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to find out who was behind the terrorist attack in Dasu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, last year and bring them to justice.

At her regular press briefing at the International Press Centre (IPC), spokesperson Mao Ning said that Pakistan took the investigation into the July 14, 2021 attack very seriously. “China really likes this,” Mao told the reporters.

Recently, a court in Pakistan put two people on trial for the Dasu terror attacks to death. “Justice has been done now that the suspects have been caught and punished. “The attack killed some of our own people, and they can now rest in peace,” Mao said.

The foreign ministry spokeswoman said that China would continue to back Pakistan’s efforts to fight terrorism. She also said that she hoped Chinese people, institutions, and projects in Pakistan would be kept safe.

She stressed that the Chinese side would do more to improve risk alerts, make it easier to respond to emergencies, and work with the right countries to protect the safety of Chinese people, institutions, and projects abroad.

When asked about reports that Chinese workers on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor used bulletproof cars, the spokesperson said she had not heard of them (CPEC). She did say, though, that both sides were talking a lot to make sure the safety of Chinese people.

In answer to another question, she said that reports of a protest against CPEC projects in Gwadar were not true. “This news is not true. “The people who are putting on the protests have said in public that they are not against China or the CPEC,” she said.

The CPEC spokesperson said that the Gwadar port was a key part of the project and that it was focused on improving people’s lives. “In all of China’s projects in this zone, it has helped build primary schools, training academies, hospitals, and solar panels, all of which have made people’s lives better.”

She said that China always stuck to the principles of mutual respect, reaching a consensus, and talking with other people. “China is ready to work with Pakistan to develop CPEC in a high-quality way and to make sure that all projects in Gwadar port run smoothly so that more benefits can be brought to the people,” she said.
