According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), a royal decree has been issued in Saudi Arabia awarding citizenship to a wide range of professionals, including scientists, physicians, researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and other gifted people.
In keeping with the issued Royal decree, “the announcement is made in line with the goal of achieving Vision 2030, which is to create an attractive environment that enables the attraction, investment in, and retention of exceptional creative minds,” SPA reported on Friday. The decree grants Saudi citizenship to experts and exceptional global talents who possess unique competencies in religious, medical, scientific, cultural, sports, and technological fields.
The proclamation highlights how the Kingdom will use its global skills to advance development in the fields of innovation, sports, health, culture, and the economy.
A similar project was approved in December 2021, demonstrating Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment to integrating elite professionals to strengthen its sectors.
The awarding of citizenship is a further step toward Saudi Vision 2030’s objective of creating an atmosphere that draws and keeps elite talent.
