ISLAMABAD: Ishaq Dar, who is the deputy prime minister and foreign minister, talked to Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, who is the foreign minister of Saudi Arabia. They talked about issues that were important to both countries, such as getting ready for Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman’s visit to Pakistan.

According to a statement from the Foreign Office, they talked about bilateral relations and looked into different ways to improve cooperation in a number of different areas during the phone call. The strong and long-lasting relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia was emphasised by both sides.

The statement said, “They talked about getting ready for the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.” Dar said that Pakistan was very much looking forward to the crown prince’s visit at a date that had been agreed upon by both countries.

The ministers also talked about the very bad situation in Gaza and other important events happening in the region and around the world that both of them cared about. The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to working together and talking to bring peace and security to the region, the statement said.
