FM Bilawal extends condolences to the Turkish government following the terrorist attack in Istanbul.
According to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Mevlut Cavusoglu of Turkey and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has had a phone conversation.
ISTANBUL: According to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, on Wednesday the United Kingdom’s Foreign Secretary offered his sympathies to his Turkish counterpart following a series of tragic terrorist assaults in Istanbul.
According to a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the conversation took place between Mevlut Cavusoglu and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari via telephone.
Zardari expressed his sorrow over the loss of life in an incident that occurred at the famous Taksim area in Istanbul earlier today in a tweet that he posted on Sunday.
“We stand in entire solidarity with our Turkish brethren in this hour of sadness and extend our greatest sympathies to the lost families and brotherly people of Turkiye,” he continued. “We stand in complete sympathy with our Turkish comrades in this hour of grief.”
At least six persons were murdered and eighty-one others were injured in a bombing that the Turkish government believes was carried out by the terrorist organization known as the YPG/PKK.
