Warner Bros. is interested in working with JK Rowling to produce future “Harry Potter” movies. Think again if you thought your time at Hogwarts was over already.

For Potterheads, we’ve got some fantastic news!
Think again if you thought your time at Hogwarts was over already. There is a strong likelihood that we will see more Harry Potter movies in the future after 11 years. Warner Bros. executives are reportedly considering the potential of working on additional fan favorites if they can bring JK Rowling on board, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The cast of Harry Potter will reconvene for the movie’s 20th anniversary. Concerning the company’s interest in retaining the brand, CEO David Zaslav made a statement. We’re going to put a lot of emphasis on franchises, he said. “A Superman movie hasn’t been released in 13 years. After fifteen years, we haven’t produced a Harry Potter film. Over the past 25 years, a large portion of Warner Bros Motion Pictures’ earnings has come from the DC and Harry Potter films.”

Added he, “Hence, emphasize the franchise. What movies have names that are recognized and adored all around the world? Because you receive a slot when you have a franchise movie, you can frequently make two to three times as much money as you can in the US. In addition, we put a lot of emphasis on the blockbuster movies that are well-liked, popular, and that people will leave dinner early to see.”

Zaslav went on: “If we can work with JK Rowling on Harry Potter moving ahead, Lord of the Rings, and Batman, Superman, and Aquaman, what are we doing with Game of Thrones? What are we doing with many of our large franchises? Our attention is on franchisees.”

The eighth film based on J.K. Rowling’s well-liked books, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, was the final Harry Potter film distributed by Warner Bros. The Secrets of Dumbledore, the most recent installment in the Fantastic Beasts spinoff film series, was released in July.
