Hasaranga and Shakib are on the preliminary list of foreign players for the HBL PSL 8 Draft.
Dawid Malan, the top-ranked T20I hitter in England, and Martin Guptill, of New Zealand, are both on a preliminary list of 214 foreign players.

The HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 Draft will include a plethora of international athletes.

From February 9 to March 19 of next year, four locations—Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan—will host the ninth HBL PSL tournament.

Dates and locations for the HBL PSL 8 have been confirmed.

Top all-arounder Shakib Al Hasan and second-ranked T20I bowler Wanindu Hasaranga have expressed interest in the draught, which is scheduled for November 18.

A preliminary list of 214 players includes South Africa’s David Miller and the top-ranked T20I hitter in England, Dawid Malan.

The registration of foreign cricket players for the PSL 8 draught is ongoing, according to the facts. Players from Papua New Guinea, Namibia, Uganda, Afghanistan, Ireland, Scotland, the United Arab Emirates, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Bangladesh, England, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, Australia, various West Indies nations, the Maldives, Canada, the United States, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, and other countries have expressed interest.

There will be adjustments and the list of players will grow. Eight cricketers currently fall within the platinum level.

Platinum Group:

Odean Smith, Wanindu Hasaranga, Dasun Shanaka from Sri Lanka, David Miller from South Africa, Shakib Al Hasan from Bangladesh, David Malan and Reece Topley from England, and David Malan from England (West Indies).

Diamond Class:

Adam Hose, Craig Overton, Jamie Overton, Lewis Gregory, Will Jacks, Ollie Pope, James Fowler, Rehan Ahmed, and Daniel Worrall are English players.

Bangladesh: Tamim Iqbal, Taskin Ahmed, Mahedi Hasan, Mahmudullah Riaz

Sri Lanka: Angelo Mathews, Oshada Fernando, Charith Asalanka, Kaushal Perera, Patham Nissanka, Kusal Mendis

West Indies: Fabian Allen, Brandon King, Johnson Charles

Afghanistan: Gulbadin Naib, Najibullah Zadran

Cameron Delport is from South Africa.

76 cricket players have signed up in the Gold category. They include Litton Das and Ebadot Hossain from Bangladesh.

Asila Gunaratne, Ramesh Mendis, Upul Tharanga, Dimuth Karunaratne, Dhananjaya De Silva, and Lahiru Kumara are all registered participants from Sri Lanka.

Sean Williams of Zimbabwe, Craig Ervine, Hamilton Masakadza, Elton Chigumbura, and Mohammad Shahzad of Afghanistan will compete in the category.

The Silver Category has 99 cricket players. Another one of them is American Jaskaran Malhotra, who rose to stardom by hitting six sixes in the span of six balls during the One Day International match against Papua New Guinea last year.
