Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has hailed the Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) decision to hold local body elections in the federal capital on schedule (Dec. 31). He expressed hope that the electorate would defeat the “corrupt gang” in the elections.

Imran expressed his gratitude to the people of Islamabad for the court’s decision to order local body elections for December 31 in a message (Saturday). According to the court’s ruling, the people of Islamabad will be able to choose their municipal representatives by voting.

Additionally, he claimed that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) consistently sided with “thieves” when making decisions that were anti-democracy.

By Allah’s blessing, the reputable courts consistently reject the unlawful rulings made by the Election Commission, he said.

He asserted that the “corrupt clique” avoided the elections because they were terrified of the populace and that their only goal was to keep control of the nation.

The PTI leader claimed that in order to maintain power, the “corrupt clique” creates “markets of consciences” using the proceeds of corruption and horse trafficking.

He asserted that “this mafia has no path left since the people have so severely rejected them.”
He fervently urged Islamabad residents to take part in the LG elections on Saturday in their entirety.

He expressed his desire for the citizens of Islamabad to defeat this “corrupt bunch” in the LG elections.
