During a media conference at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, the PTI supremo expressed worries regarding CJ’s involvement in PTI benches and his personal cases.

Imran Khan emphasized concerns expressed by his legal team about the judge’s frequent attendance, suggesting a growing sentiment in his camp that justice might not be administered fairly in these circumstances.

The PTI founder cited a recent ruling by Justice Gulzar’s five-judge panel, which upheld the position of his group that Chief Justice should not hear matters involving them. He also mentioned the administrative dynamics within the jail, including the senior military authorities’ involvement in daily operations.

Regarding the episode in which a planned meeting with his team was abruptly canceled, Imran conveyed his dissatisfaction at the lost chance to settle internal conflicts had the meeting gone forward as scheduled.

Imran bemoaned lost chances to settle internal conflicts and expressed unhappiness over a postponed meeting with his legal staff. Citing operational considerations, the superintendent refused Khan’s team entry, purportedly at the behest of an imprisoned colonel.

Khan proclaimed, “They are mistaken; they think my party will weaken,” asserting the tenacity of his party. They are unaware that the party with the largest support base of voters still holds sway.”

Khan highlighted that the country’s problems cannot be resolved by the IMF and insisted that free and fair elections are the only way to find a solution. He voiced worry that other countries are already surpassing Pakistan, which was in the lead until 1990.

“The elite is the only group in charge of the nation. What good does it serve for a president to raise the home expenses? The people’s backs have been broken by gas and electricity costs.”

After his statements in the National Assembly on February 8, Khan indicated that talks with Omer Ayyub, Senate Shibli Faraz, and Ali Amin Gandapur had taken place. He pointed out that the talks were held with the understanding that he would not interfere with strong powers.

The former prime minister underlined that talks take place when problems emerge and he pledged to continue to work with Shehbaz Sharif’s administration.

“The Chief Justice is defining the Election Commission, even though the entire country believes that the largest fraud took place. The biggest scam in the nation has been perpetrated by the Election Commission. Justice is what we want from the Chief Justice. Article 6 will be applied to the Chief Election Commissioner if investigations continue.”

“The tyranny of time will never defeat me; I am willing to die in prison. I am going to fight this struggle as long as I live. It is my voice that proclaims La Ilaha Illallah. There are videos of Khawaja Asif, Nawaz Sharif, and Maryam Nawaz available here in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Insist that the government bring legal action against them,” said Khan.

Khan emphasized the need for a robust partnership with Afghanistan in terms of national security, saying, “We cannot defeat TTP without it.”

“Why didn’t our Foreign Minister and Bilawal Bhutto visit Afghanistan?” the statement continues. We cannot cross a 2,500-kilometer border and win this war without the assistance of the Afghan government. The Ghani government and the ATS worked together during our mandate. I went to Afghanistan and had talks in spite of this.”
