In regards to the consistently increasing crime statistics, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Ameer Engr Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has stated that there is little difference between the former Pakistan People Party government and the current caretaker authority.
During the year 2023, 135 civilians were killed and 1,150 others wounded while resisting robberies, according to the JI chief.
The disastrous crime rate, according to the JI leader, is a direct result of the corrupt and inept leadership of both the past and current governments.
