ISLAMABAD: On Tuesday, the interim minister of information for Balochistan, Jan Achakzai, stated that security forces executed six terrorists linked with the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) when they repelled the attacks that took place in Mach the previous night.
Both Doda Baloch and Pardan Baloch, two terrorists who were killed, were named by the minister, who also stated that photographs and other information will be disclosed in the near future.
According to a tweet that Achakzai sent out last night, the forces were successful in foiling three “coordinated attacks” that were carried out by terrorists associated with the Aslam Acho organization. Nevertheless, the Majeed Brigade of the BLA was the one who carried out the attack.
The minister in charge of caretaking stated that the attack did not result in any damage to military installations, and there were no reports of casualties among the military personnel.
The minister stated that the terrorists had successfully retreated, and that the security forces were still chasing them.
The minister said in another post on X, “Updated Missing Persons List: We commend the swift action taken by the Pakistan Army and FC Balochistan in thwarting a terrorist attack in Mach, Balochistan.” @FC Balochistan and the Pakistan Army collaborated to prevent the attack. Five terrorists affiliated with the BLA have been eliminated, assuring the safety of our members of the public. The bravery and commitment that our Armed Forces have shown in their efforts to save lives is truly admirable.
All of the individuals that Baloch families assert have been forcibly disappeared and for whom they are seeking justice are, according to Achakzai, warriors who have fled their homes in order to join terrorist organizations.
There was a coordinated assault on Mach that was carried out by terrorists affiliated with the BLA late on Monday night. Several automobiles were seen on fire in the alleged films of the incident that were circulating on social media. Additionally, law enforcement agency officials were seen being held hostage in the footage. A number of targets, including the town’s railway and police stations, as well as other institutions belonging to security personnel, were allegedly attacked, according to rumors that circulated on social media.
The “fire raid attempt” that the terrorists attempted to carry out was, however, foiled by the security personnel.
The information regarding the terrorist attack had already been obtained by the security forces, as reports from various sources indicate. This meant that when the attack took place, the forces ambushed them and provided a strong response, which resulted in the terrorists being killed.
