On Wednesday, PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz announced that the “lion” roar, representing her party’s election symbol, will be heard on February 8.
“Gajju Matta, I thank you wholeheartedly for your overwhelming welcome,” Maryam said to the cheering crowd at a rally in Lahore’s Gajju Matta. In exchange for your assistance in bringing the lion to triumph, I pledge to work tirelessly for the benefit of the people, as you have selected me.
She praised the PML-N for their work on Lahore’s infrastructure, mentioning the Orange Line rail and the Speedo Bus service on Ferozepur Road as examples of Nawaz Sharif’s commitment to serving the people of Lahore.
We would want to inform Lahore that the PML-N set records of service while their opponents were sitting on their hands. She made the observation that the delay in the Orange Line’s operationalization was caused by Saqib Nisar, the former Chief Justice.
According to the PML-N leader, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) administration in Lahore did not even have someone to clean up litter. “The oppressed will be lifted up and the invaders expelled from Lahore on February 8,” she continued.
Lahore and Pakistan would be reshaped by the PML-N, according to Maryam. On February 8 in Lahore, not a single animal would roar. I want to congratulate you all in advance.
Additionally, she emphasised the need of voting for PML-N on election day in order to help Pakistan achieve economic prosperity.
