Masood Khan, Pakistan’s ambassador to the US, has praised the “kind help” provided by the US-based medical community in Pakistan during all challenging times, particularly during tragedies and natural disasters.

He was speaking at the Annual Gala 2022 of the DMV Chapter of the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent in North America in Washington. The ambassador praised the medical community’s efforts and contributions to Pakistan as well as the United States.

According to him, Pakistan takes great satisfaction in the roughly 20,000 doctors of Pakistani heritage who reside in the United States, and this fosters a close relationship between Pakistan and the US.

In Pakistan, the community had been making investments, according to the ambassador, through philanthropy, humanitarian aid, healthcare, education, and research.

He thanked the assistance provided by doctors in helping Pakistani students enrol in top American universities.

Pakistani physicians, according to Ambassador Khan, may significantly contribute to managing perceptions between the two nations and uniting their people. By 2047, Pakistan, according to him, would have one of the top ten economies on the planet.
