A. ISLAMABAD:
On Saturday, the supremo of the Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML-N), Nawaz Sharif, revealed the manifesto of the party and pledged to “fully implement” it if he were to be elected to power. The elections are scheduled to take place in less than two weeks.
During a gathering of the PML-N in its stronghold of Lahore, the party’s manifesto was presented to the public. The former premier of Pakistan referred to the economics of the country as the most significant aspect of the PML-N’s manifesto statement.
Nawaz expressed his sentiments by saying, “It is excruciating to be kicked out of the government; the errors must be acknowledged.” “I do not want to go into the discussion of how RTS was closed, but if it had not been closed, we would have had a government at the Centre like in Punjab,” commented the former Prime Minister. “I do not want to go into the discussion.”
One of the leaders of the PML-N expressed his desire that people would study the party’s manifesto. The statement was made by Nawaz in regard to the former prime minister Imran Khan. “If I had been there in the previous government instead of the person who you saw, I would have never done what he did,” Nawaz mentioned.
The people of KP are easily duped, as seen by the fact that they voted for Imran Khan, according to Nawaz.
Nawaz made a solemn promise that if the PML-N administration were to be elected for a fourth time, it would ensure that power rates would be reduced by twenty to thirty percent, that “cheap and increased electricity” would be provided, and that the country would experience enhanced development.
In addition to this, the manifesto promises to implement a huge job creation program and make it simple to obtain loans for new enterprises getting started.
In addition, the party intends to reestablish student unions in an effort to earn the favor of the younger generation, grant funding to new information technology businesses, and broaden the scope of the National Youth Scheme.
Continuing the approach that the PML-N takes to subjects pertaining to foreign policy, the manifesto included a commitment to send a “message of peace” to other countries, particularly India, about the fact that it will reverse the action that was taken in occupied Kashmir in August 2019.
It is stated in the party manifesto that they will “rebuild Pakistan together” and that they will “bring Constitutional, legal, judicial, and administrative reforms” to the people. This manifesto is directed toward Pakistanis who are living outside of Pakistan.
The manifesto of the party also included a pledge to “rebuild tourism” and bring about reforms to sports, including the building of new stadiums and sports academies. Additionally, the party vowed to bring about improvements in the education system.
In addition to these topics, the manifesto discussed the modernization of agricultural techniques, the empowerment of women, the introduction of new labor rules, and the implementation of measures to combat violence directed towards the country’s minority groups.
