RAWALPINDI:
In collaboration with Rawalpindi Women University, the Punjab Arts Council (PAC) put on an art show.
The artworks were centered on women’s difficulties in society, highlighting the oppression and difficulties they face as a result of patriarchal social norms. Understudies’ craft portrayed ladies caught in the pattern of neglected homegrown work and furthermore remarked on the ordinary delicacy of life through drawings of the genuine, skeletal design underneath the human skin.
Dr. Anila Kamal, Vice Chancellor of Rawalpindi Women University, was the exhibition’s main guest. Special guests included Sajjad Hussain, the Arts Council’s director, and D. Arjumand Faisal, a well-known curator.
Dr. Anila Kamal, the chief guest, stated in her address to the attendees, “Each painting is unique and contains hundreds of emotions.”
