The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that Pakistan Navy warships and aircraft had discovered the presence of Indian Navy ships, submarines, and aircraft trying to surreptitiously monitor Exercise Seaspark 2024 and decipher naval war preparations.
In response, it said, the Pakistan Navy took the appropriate precautions to protect its operational pursuits and strategic objectives.
According to ISPR, the Pakistan Navy’s signature maritime exercise, Exercise Seaspark 2024, is held every two years to assess operational readiness and inter-navy collaboration.
The two forces that make up the exercise’s framework are the orange force (enemy force) and the blue force (our force). The purpose of this exercise is to improve Pakistan Navy’s operational capabilities by simulating complicated operations, huge mobilizations, and wartime procedures.
Admiral Naveed Ashraf, the Chief of the navy Staff, conducted a thorough inspection of navy vessels at sea, as well as of the coastal regions of Balochistan and Sindh’s creeks.

The commanders of the orange and blue naval forces briefed Admiral Ashraf at the Maritime Headquarters in Karachi on the activities carried out by their respective units.
Admiral Ashraf subsequently visited the Battalion Headquarters of the Pakistan Marines at Shah Bandar and Keti Bandar Post. While there, he was given comprehensive briefings on combat preparation for the defense of creek regions, which comprise a portion of Pakistan’s maritime border with India.
Admiral Ashraf engaged with the soldiers stationed in difficult marshy regions during his tour, expressing gratitude for their commitment and positive attitude in defending the country’s marine borders.
Admiral Ashraf also conducted an inspection of naval vessels while on the visit to the Jinnah Naval Base in Ormara. expressing gratitude for the Pakistan Navy’s outstanding professionalism and constant readiness.
Admiral Ashraf reiterated the navy’s commitment to defending the nation’s marine interests and ensuring an invincible maritime defense.
