According to a news statement, Sayed is now an expert in international economics and has joined the NEC, which is led by the prime minister.

Senior government ministers, the country’s biggest private taxpayers, representatives of corporate groups, and external economic specialists, including esteemed scholars from Harvard University and Germany, make up the NEC’s membership.

The NEC is the venue where the Albanian government and the private sector engage in dialogue and consultations; it was formed by law in 2014.

Experienced in development work, Sayed has held senior positions with the World Bank in the Americas, Europe, South Asia, and Latin America. She has the distinction of being the senior Pakistani national at the World Bank before she retired.

The development priorities of Pakistan are being advised by her to multilateral agencies at the moment. Not only that, but she was the first Honorary Consul of Albania in Islamabad.
