Mr. Arshad Sharif, a respected Pakistani journalist, was fatally shot in Nairobi on Sunday night.
According to early reports, Mr. Sharif died at a police road barrier while returning to Nairobi from Magadi with his driver. Police had flagged down the car, but they had not yet made an official statement about it.
According to reports, his driver was hurt and taken to the hospital.
