Iftikhar Ahmed enters his name in the record books for India vs. Pakistan.
Iftikhar Ahmed officially entered the record books on Sunday after breaking the Pakistani batters’ previous mark for the most sixes hit in Australia.
At the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Ahmed scored 51 runs off 34 balls while playing against India and hit four sixes in the process.
Ahmed had hit three sixes in Canberra prior to this.
Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, was able to strike two sixes in Sydney in 2019 and Kamran Akmal was also successful in hitting the same number of sixes in Sydney in 2010.
