At a meeting held on Tuesday in ISLAMABAD, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, and the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, reaffirmed their shared commitment to further expand and diversify the special bilateral relations between Pakistan and the UAE.

According to a press release issued by the PM Office Media Wing, the Prime Minister of Pakistan expressed his gratitude to the President of the United Arab Emirates for providing both financial and material assistance to Pakistan in the aftermath of the recent devastation caused by climate-induced floods in Pakistan.

The prime minister briefed him on the forthcoming “International Conference on Resilient Pakistan,” which is scheduled to take place in Geneva on January 9 and asked for his assistance for high-level participation from the UAE. The conference will be held on January 9.

The attempts to increase Pakistan’s climate resilience were the main topic of discussion during the conference, and President Sheikh Mohamed of the UAE expressed his country’s unwavering support for these efforts.
