PM ORDERS GAWADAR PORT FOR WHEAT & UREA

The Prime Minister has ordered that the Gwadar port be used for the shipment of wheat and urea.
According to Shehbaz, the laxness in the Kisan Package is intolerable.

ISLAMABAD:
On Thursday, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, made it clear that he will not stand for any slack in the implementation of the Kisan Package that the government has announced.

The prime minister also gave instructions to the relevant authorities to make use of Gwadar Port for the shipment of fifty percent of the wheat and urea that was being transported, stating that it was necessary for the development of Balochistan that the port be made operational.

Farmers in flood-affected areas will be eligible for a subsidy from the government to help cover the cost of installing tube wells, according to the Prime Minister, who was presiding over a meeting to monitor the implementation of the package.

He stated that the government was providing the farmers with any and all assistance that they might possibly need in this difficult time in order to help them plant the future harvest.

In addition, he gave the assurance that the government would take any and all steps necessary to make the Gwadar Port operational.

During the course of the meeting, the Prime Minister was provided with an in-depth briefing on the implementation of the Kisan Package, the provision of tube well subsidies to farmers in flood-affected areas, and the facilitation of farmers in preparation for the next crop.

In addition to senior officials, federal ministers such as Ishaq Dar, Tariq Bashir Cheema, Engineer Khurram Dastgir, and Marriyum Aurangzeb, Minister of State Dr. Musaddiq Malik, and Advisor to the PM Ahad Cheema were present at the meeting.
