Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) sources claimed on Saturday that the party is going to propose a resolution of no-confidence against Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and Punjab Assembly Speaker Sibtain Khan, preventing the potential dissolution of the Punjab Assembly.
In an effort to stop the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf from potentially dissolving the provincial legislature, the PML-N leadership is said to have given the go-ahead to present a motion of no confidence in the province assembly (PTI).
The no-confidence resolution was signed by party members, according to PML-N sources, and they were told to assemble in the former provincial education minister Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan’s office.
The no-confidence motion is anticipated to be submitted soon by the members of the Punjab Assembly.
