Imran will receive a legal notice from the PPP on allegations made against Zardari.
The declaration was made after the former prime minister accused Asif Ali Zardari of conspiring to kill him.

Following Imran Khan’s assertion that PPP co-chair Asif Ali Zardari was involved in hatching a new assassination plot against him, the Pakistan People’s Party announced preparations to issue a legal notice to the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

PPP leaders Farhatullah Babar, Nayyar Bukhari, and Qamar Zaman Kaira spoke to the media and criticised Imran for his claims. The PPP members said that the former premier had “lost his mind” and that the group will issue a legal notice requesting that he retract his claims.

According to Bukhari, the PPP insisted that Imran’s claims were “baseless and a lie.”

“In terms of his political philosophy and temperament, Imran Khan has died politically. He added that Imran was suffering from despair and fear and that during his panic, he had placed the blame on many organisations, including the ruling class, the Pakistani Election Commission, and the former chief of the army staff.

Imran’s politics, according to Kaira, included intimidating rivals, character assassination, contempt, and creating fear. Imran’s politics, he said, were fascist in nature, and his rule was not democratic.

“This is not a meaningless accusation; Imran has made a very detailed accusation that our leaders funded terrorist groups and conspired with them,” he stated. Imran was compelled to provide his data and supporting documentation by the PPP leader.

Kaira claimed that this was more than a simple slander case and that Imran’s remarks would motivate PTI workers to take action against the PPP leadership.

Imran has a deep-seated need to fight. As his political influence decreases, he attempts to flee.

He continued by saying that the PPP will carry out its legal and political obligations, but he asked the judiciary to look into the incident and punish the offender, regardless of their political allegiances.

Action should be taken against Imran if he doesn’t offer proof for his claims, the man said.

According to Kaira, the PPP leadership had complained about the Wazirabad attack on Imran and had asked the courts to look into the situation. However, he said, Imran’s own provincial administration established a JIT and routinely replaced the leader.

The perpetrator of the Wazirabad incident was acting on his own accord, according to the final report, which was submitted by a person the PPP did not support, he claimed.

He said, “The Supreme Court should take notice of Imran’s charges, bring them to a conclusion, and punish whoever is in the wrong.” He added that the PPP would “not permit” the allegations, which were an attempt to tarnish Pakistan’s residual name.

He added that while Imran had warned that his arrest would cause pandemonium, nobody had actually been detained during the PDM era. He insisted that Fawad Chaudhry, the PTI’s leader, was detained as a result of an ECP notice.

“I denounce the media groups that engaged in a dispute about whether the government instructed the ECP to issue the notice of arrest for Fawad. Kaira highlighted that Fawad himself had spoken out against the ECP.

The PPP representative proceeded by claiming that the PTI leader’s false cases were a tactic, but that the incumbent administration would have arrested Imran if they had wanted to.

To avoid capture, he has collected labourers outside his home. He used to say that since everyone is treated equally by the law, he ought to face it.

Nayyar Bukhari, a former senator, stated that the PPP’s legal staff would issue a legal notice and take all necessary constitutional and legal measures.

The [terrorist] factions Imran alleges we are associated with have targeted the PPP, according to Bukhari. He insisted that Imran was known as “Taliban Khan” since he was associated with the aforementioned groups.

Imran Khan called the alleged conspiracy “Plan-C” on Friday while conducting a news conference from his Zaman Park home in Lahore via video link. He accused Zardari of funding a terrorist group to carry out the murder attempt on his life.

“Now that they’ve developed a Plan C, Asif Zardari is responsible for it. He has a lot of corrupt funds that he steals from the government of Sindh and uses to influence elections. Imran claimed that Zardari had donated money to a terrorist organisation and that he was being helped by individuals from strong organisations.

He continued, “This has been decided on three fronts, and they will move swiftly.” He continued, “I’m telling you this so that if something happens to me, the nation will know who was responsible and would never forgive them.

Imran further asserted that a scheme to assassinate him under “Plan-B” in the name of religious extremism existed, referring to the gun attack on him in Wazirabad in November of last year. He continued, “They almost pulled off their plan to kill me, but they are now going towards Plan-C.”
