As of August 1, the nation’s petroleum product prices are predicted to drop.
Media estimates suggest that the price of petrol could decrease by up to Rs3 per litre, and the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) could decrease by up to Rs8.50 per litre.
The drop in the price of crude oil globally is also expected to result in a reduction of Rs9.11 per litre in the cost of kerosene oil.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will provide the government with the final petroleum price report, according to Ministry of Petroleum Division sources.
On July 31, the finance minister will declare the new petroleum pricing as directed by the prime minister.
